Philip Miles

An associate of Development Factory and founder of HRM-Lab, after having worked for more than eight years as an assessment consultant and management consultant for Mercer. In 2011 he completed his doctoral thesis, in which themes such as the motivation of employees (enthusiasm/engagement, commitment extra-role behaviour), absenteeism, fairness, organisational insecurity and trust in the organisation/management have pride of place. His activities focus on making effectiveness and the experience of employees measurable and linking this to performance and organisational outcomes. This includes, for instance, questionnaire-based research and in-depth statistical organisational research. Educational background: Occupational & Organisational Psychology. His work is based on the conviction that it is possible to make visible that which motivates people and makes them productive.
