Topassessment

Purpose of the Top Assessment is to determine qualities, areas of development and possible risks for potential candidates concerning their performance in a high level position. We provide advice concerning adequate conditions to successfully fulfill top management positions, including member of the board or chairman of the board positions. Additionally we council personal growth.


It is not uncommon for executive managers to feel not entirely equipped to perform personal and leadership development in an adequate way. Particularly for managers at the highest level Development Factory has designed a Top management Assessment Center. This assessment offers the possibility to take stock, to reflect and monitor qualities and opportunities for development. It goes without saying that only experienced senior organizational psychologists conduct the Top Assessment and act as sparring partners. The purpose of the top assessment can be either career development, succession planning or selection. This assessment provides new insights which contribute to personal effectiveness and leadership growth. The Top Assessment will serve as a career guide for the executive manager. This assessment has also added value for candidates who have obtained experience with standard approaches in assessments before.

Content

The assessment program will take a full day and consists of a extensive structured interview with two psychologists and a series of challenging and high impact practical cases. We also use The Birkman Method to assess the candidate’s personality.

This method allows insight into the qualities and behavior and the way they become obvious for those with whom the candidate interacts. It also sheds light on the needs, expectations and wishes, all of which influence behavior. In addition it shows how behavior will most likely be influenced by stressful aspects; in Birkman terms this means: the natural behavior when a lack of fulfillment of these needs and wishes occurs.

The results will be translated in a expanded report covering the areas of development, future positions and most suitable work environment. At the end of the program the first results will be shared with the candidate.
