Outplacement

Sometimes organisations and employees have to take leave of each others. This may happen during reorganisations, but also if differences arise between personal wishes and the opportunities which the organisation offers. In many cases, the organisation wishes to support its employees. Outplacement offers an opportunity to do so. Replacement is also a suitable method for supporting reintegration into work. Outplacement increases the opportunities for obtaining a new, suitable job.

Individual attention and a tailor-made approach characterises the way we work. We take into account the employee's needs and adjust the action we take to the actual situation. We coach the employee in relation to his or her activities, but we are also ready and willing to take certain tasks upon ourselves. We can do searches, prepare job applications, assess letters, and make use of our network, where necessary.


Professional supervision from numerous disciplines

In our practice, career coaches work together with psychologists, who offer support in specific areas. We also offer the possibility of job coaching during the first six months of a new job. This helps candidates to make a good start and also to continue to be successful in the long term.


Method of work

The exploratory interview with the candidate, which is without engagement, is followed by determining a customised plan of action. In this regard we provide an insight beforehand into the steps which may be taken. A full procedure includes six components, which partially run parallel to each other.

1. Current situation

Freeing oneself from one’s former work situation may be very difficult. The candidate learns to accept that certain wishes cannot be fulfilled and that he or she has to make new choices.


2. Personal analysis

On the basis of the candidate's employment history, education, ambitions, (limited) opportunities and personal background, we draw up an analysis of his or her strengths and weaknesses.


3. Labour market analysis

The candidate and the coach decide on the market segments, organisational cultures and jobs which are interesting and feasible.


4. Strategy for approaching the market

Depending on the branch and the level, we select a strategy for approaching the selected market segments.


5. Implementation phase

We coach the candidate in looking for a suitable job and offer support in relation to current job applications.


6. Job coaching

The coach offers supervision at the start of a new job.
