Ineke Michon
Director and consultant of Development Factory. She is responsible for the day-to-day management. She began her career in the public sector and worked for 10 years as an adviser for various not-for-profit organisations. Following this she worked for Schnitker & Voortman for five years as a management consultant and following this for five years with the HR consultancy firm, Mercer. All considered, she has 22 years of working experience in the area of training, assessment, coaching and outplacement. At Mercer she was the manager of the Assessments Department. Her educational background is twofold: Clinical Psychology at the University of Amsterdam and the Teacher Training College in Maastricht. In addition, she has worked since 2002 as a certified Birkman consultant. She is convinced that happy people perform better.

 

Brigitte Hellings
Partner and consultant of Development Factory, 12 years' working experience in assessment psychology, coaching and outplacement. During this period, she has worked for management consultancy firms in the HR area, for some of the time with a large HR consultancy firm, Mercer. She started her career as a training adviser with a training institute for the retail and wholesale sectors. Educational background: organisational psychology, with a specialisation in corporate training. Since 2002, she has worked passionately and as a certified practitioner of the Birkman method in assessment and coaching. She believes in the development of people and organisations. 

 

Jan Slagmolen
Partner and consultant with Development Factory. After studying Psychology at Radboud University, he started work as an HR advisor for a municipality and later worked as an HR consultant with a consultancy firm. He has broad experience in the area of HRM. Along the way, the emphasis of his activities has shifted towards the area of assessment. Assessment, coaching and career guidance have been the core of his activities for several years. He has experience with both (municipal) public sector organisations and the profit sector. He is convinced that consistently assessing and developing employees contributes to realising the strategic objectives of organisations. Pleasure in doing one's work does the rest.

 

Marlon Wolfhagen
Partner and consultant with Development Factory, with 22 years ' working experience, of which 15 years in assessment psychology, coaching and outplacement. In addition, she holds regular, specific training sessions in relation to assessment, performance and interview techniques. She began as a Personnel Adviser and a Management Adviser with the Industrial Insurance Administration Office (GAK), had her own career advisory firm and subsequently worked for Mercer, a large HR consultancy firm. Educational background: Occupational & Organisational Psychology and Philosophy. Enjoys working with and for people.

 

Jelma Runia
She has been employed by Development Factory since it was founded. Duties: secretarial and administrative support, supervision of assessment candidates and role plays during assessment days. Prior to this, she worked for many years as a (management) secretary with commercial organisations and in recent years provided all-round support for management consultancy firms in the area of training and assessments. Educational background: a social work degree from a university of applied sciences and several management courses.

 

Philip Miles
An associate of Development Factory and founder of HRM-Lab, after having worked for more than eight years as an assessment consultant and management consultant for Mercer. At present he is also completing his doctoral thesis, in which themes such as the motivation of employees (enthusiasm/engagement, commitment extra-role behaviour), absenteeism, fairness, organisational insecurity and trust in the organisation/management have pride of place. His activities focus on making effectiveness and the experience of employees measurable and linking this to performance and organisational outcomes. This includes, for instance, questionnaire-based research and in-depth statistical organisational research. Educational background: Occupational & Organisational Psychology. His work is based on the conviction that it is possible to make visible that which motivates people and makes them productive.

 

Corry Haring
Associate with Development Factory and Occupational & Organisational Psychologist with more than 20 years experience in the area of recruitment and selection, career development and coaching. She graduated with KLM on the basis of a study of the development of absenteeism prevention and reduction policy and for a number of years contributed to various HRM projects as a member of KLM's staff. After this, she worked for GITP as a company psychologist for more than 17 years at the level of a senior consultant. Since 2003, she has had her own practice as an assessment consultant, coach and outplacement and reintegration adviser. She has a strong focus on the development of people and is committed to making a contribution to this.

 

Johan Hoogcarspel
Freelance psychologist. After studying Occupational & Organisational Psychology in Leiden, he started working as a consultant in the area of quality of work processes, employee satisfaction and customer satisfaction. This look behind the scenes of many different organisations gave him a broad view and a sound ability to estimate what is essential in fulfilling the requirements of a job. Afterwards he made the transition to assessments, first in paid employment and later as an independent entrepreneur. He gradually broadened his area of work to include work as a training actor, career adviser and coach. For him, each person is unique and, despite his experience, he still regards it as a challenge to analyse the distinctive characteristics of a candidate. He always gives feedback from a positive perspective with the aim of providing insight and enabling others to grow.

 

Erica van Riet Janssen
A freelance consultant with Development Factory with 14 years’ working experience as a occupational and organisational psychologist. Her career began as a trainer and coach with a training institute for the retail and wholesale sector. Following this, she worked as a (management) trainer, coach and assessor for various well-known firms. Since 2007 she has had her own company which focuses on personal and spiritual growth, in addition to her activities as a partner of a training firm and as a freelance assessment psychologist. Putting people in touch with their essence, so that they can give form to their life and work from their hearts and with their personal strength is her mission.

 

Sandra Terwolbeck
Sandra is an associate of Development Factory. She has her own consultancy firm, Human Talent Results. Following her Human Resources education, she completed various follow-on courses. She has more than 15 years’ experience as a consultant and interim HR experience. Her heart lies in performance and competence management, talent management and issues relating to mobility. In this regard, she is an experienced and enthusiastic trainer. She also supports organisations in relation to organisational and cultural change. She is convinced that if people work within their organisations on the basis of shared objectives and if there is genuine interest and appreciation of each other's policies, capacities and needs, much more can be achieved.

 

Geert Fritsma
Graduated in occupational & organisational psychology and social psychology. His first job was as a trainer with the Police Academy. Following this, he worked for more than 10 years with a number of well-known psychological consultancy firms, where he was involved in assessments, career advice and providing training in the area of personal effectiveness and interview skills. For several years he has been active as an independent entrepreneur and has been associated with the Development Factory. The golden thread in his career is his endeavour to get the best out of people and to establish a link to the organisation's results.

 

Janine Pormes
Actress and training actress. In recent years she has worked for numerous clients, both in the area of training and in the area of assessments. Prior to this, she worked for five years presenting various TV programmes and working behind the scenes as a research editor and was closely involved in the development of children's programmes. She combined this with theatre activities. Educational background: theatre and drama courses, training as a training actor. She regards the various jobs which she has fulfilled in the private sector and the life experience which she has obtained from this as a valuable basis for her work as a training actress.

 

Dorien Meijer

Associate with Development Factory. Dorien completed Teacher Training College in 1982 and obtained her Master’s degree in Occupational and Organisational Psychology in 2005 through the Open Universiteit in Heerlen. She has a basic qualification in psychodiagnostics, is a certified Birkman TM consultant and a psychologist registered with the Netherlands Institute of Psychologists. She began her career as an IT specialist with one of the largest global engineering firms, but after 15 years decided to change direction. In 2003 she started working as a consultant with Mercer Schnitker & Voortman and since 2007 she has carried out various assignments as an independent consultant for various HR organisations. She has acquired extensive, international experience in the area of psychological assessments, with a focus both on development and selection and career-related issues. Recent assignments have included, for instance, senior-management assessments in Europe and the Middle East. In addition, she has considerable experience in the area of outplacement, both for individuals and groups.
